Bushnell puzzle camo in the grass

Here is how this camo looks in the grass

Cerakote and Duracoat

Here is the Bushnell red/green dot mounted on a Chinese NHM 91 long barrell AK
The AK was painted years ago with Duracoat in a tiger stripe pattern
It has had hard use and shows some chipping
The red dot was recently painted with highland green, black and brown in a Swedish M 90 puzzle camo pattern

Bushnell red/green dot in puzzle camo

You can still see the Bushnell logo
This is a multi reticle red dot coated with Cerakote c in the Swedish puzzle camo pattern

Vietnam Tigerstripe Shotgun

The colors of Cerakote c used were
Graphite black, highland green, federal brown with desert sage as the accent color

Benelli Super Black Eagle Vietnam Tigerstripe

This shotgun was nice in its' original black finish
Now it is a work of art!

This one is artistic

Bersa Thunder cc 2 tone

The Bersa looks much better in cerakote h black graphite slide and burnt bronze frame with black trigger and controls. I added a CrimsonTrace laser grip and now it is an accurate little carry gun

Distressed Bersa Thunder cc

The Bersa has been partially sanded down to bare metal
It looks cool with silver and black in a "distressed"  look
I would like to paint a gun to look used like this

Bersa Thunder cc

Here is a brand new Bersa Thunder cc
The factory finish is very poorly applied
Note the variations is the black color
We can improve on that

CZ 75 in green Duracoat

Here is my CZ 85 with the slide painted in Duracoat. It was painted 5 years ago and has had a lot of use
The Duracoat holds up well
It has the Crimson Trace laser grips that block the ambidextrous safety, so it is a CZ 75

Century AK pistol assembled

Here you can see the matched Century AK pistol and HS 2000 pistol. Both in Cerakote h burnt bronze. The bronze and black 2 tone looks both elegant and mean!

AK pistol in Burnt Bronze Cerakote

Here you can see where I filled in this AK pistol sight engraving with Lacquer Stik white
I also filled in safe and fire in white and red lacquer.
Here is a Century AK pistol coated in Cerakote h burnt bronze
The original finish was black parkerizing.
I left the barrel under the hand guard alone.
This traditional gun finish is easily scratched off and gives only modest rust protection.
its color range is either grey or black.
It also requires oil to be applied at frequent intervals.
Cerakote is much harder, rust proof and comes in many colors.
There is even a color that mimics parkerization!
Cerakote c is better for barrels as it is even more heat resistant than the h series

Burnt Bronze HS2000

Here is a well used pistol that I Cerakoted in H series burnt bronze color
Slide and magazine base bronze
Rest of pistol black
I always like the look of a two tone pistol!

Cerakote H burnt bronze H K USP .45

Cerakote H is the heat cured version of cerakote
This finish is tough!
On a pistol slide it is perfect.
A slide does not get hot, but rather gets holster wear
Burnt bronze is popular because it looks great!

H and K USP compact in .45 with a burnt bronze Cerakote H slide

Here is a slide on a H and K pistol coated in burnt bronze cerakote
This color has become extremely popular for a reason.
It looks great on firearms!

Para Ordnance Warthog finished

Here is the .45 cal warthog with its' grips on
It is painted in Cerakote c
Black slide, green frame and polished safety and hammer
A 2 tone pistol really looks nice

Para ordnance .45 cal warthog pistol

Here is a compact .45 from para ordnance
The finish was well worn off from being carried in a concealment holster
I have not been  impressed with the factory finish on any para ordnance product
This one was sanded to bare metal and coated with cerakote graphite black on the slide and highland green on the lower
The controls and barrel  were polished to a mirror finish with mothers mag polish
Ready for a lifetime of concealed carry

Cerakote and Duracoat paintball guns

Tiger stripe versus digital in the same color scheme
Here the upper gun was Duracoated over 5 years ago
The bottom one was just  cerakoted recently.
The Duracoat has held up well to very hard use. Just a little flaking off the braided air hose and some wear on the tombstone latch where the air hose enters the bottom of the gun
This old style Tippman A 5 has been used in woodsball play. It has been dragged, tangled in vines, pushed thru peepholes and hit against
wooden bunkers.
I am impressed with duracoats durability!
We will see how well the cerakote holds up

Camo Steyr Aug

Here is how the Aug looks in the grass on a sunny day

It is counterintuitive, but contrasting spots really help break up the outline
